The Xi 1M FP Furnace Package is designed to protect the Xi 1M infrared imager in harsh industrial settings where heat, dust, smoke, and fumes can quickly limit the effectiveness of traditional systems. It combines a sturdy water-cooled housing, an air purge flange laminar with a protective window, and a process interface. This complete solution allows for reliable thermal monitoring directly at furnaces, kilns, and high-temperature areas. Built for continuous 24/7 use, the system can withstand ambient temperatures up to 250 °C while keeping measurement performance stable. The cooling system needs a recommended water flow of 1 to 5 l/min (with water temperature below 30 °C), which effectively prevents overheating during demanding operations. The air purge unit keeps the optics clean and protected by using adjustable airflow to combat dust buildup and reduce chimney-effect heat near the lens. As an online thermal camera package, the Xi 1M FP provides detailed thermal images with 396 x 300 pixels and operates in the 0.85 to 1.1 µm spectral range. It's ideal for high-temperature monitoring from 450 °C to 1800 °C without subranges. Customers can select different optics, from wide-angle to tele-lenses, and can also opt for 5 m or 10 m high-temperature cables (up to 250 °C) to allow for flexible integration. In automation settings, the Xi 1M FP supports Ethernet connectivity (with optional PoE) and can be paired with a standard or Industrial Process Interface that offers extended outputs and fail-safe features. This makes the package a strong online thermal camera solution for heat treatment, metallurgy, furnace monitoring, and process control. It helps customers improve quality, reduce downtime, and protect valuable equipment.
