Schaller G110 – Moisture Analyzer Analytical Balance

The Moisture Analyzer G110 is an analytical balance for determining the moisture content of a wide variety of materials. The measuring range of 110 grams with a resolution of 0,005 grams enables precise moisture determination of materials such as small, unknown, liquid or doughy media that cannot be calibrated with a humimeter device.

The moisture analyzer works with a heating chamber that can be heated up to 199°C with halogen lamps. As soon as the drying process is automatically completed, the moisture analyzer calculates the moisture content of the material using the difference in weight.

This method is very accurate but time consuming. Handling and measurement process

The G110 moisture analyzer offers an analysis scale for moisture determination and works for different materials with a fully automatic measuring program. To do this, an appropriate amount of the material to be measured is simply filled into the sample pan, which is placed in the moisture analyzer.

Then the drying program is selected, whereupon the automatic moisture determination begins. During the drying process, the moisture analyzer heats the material up to 199°C and dries according to the selected program until constant weight is reached.

The result is then shown on the display of the moisture analyzer.
