Description

The Xi 1M IP Industrial Package is a reliable system for thermal monitoring in harsh industrial settings. It is specifically built for applications needing a durable online thermal camera that can run continuously in high temperatures, dust, smoke, or fumes. The package includes the Xi 1M infrared camera, a stainless-steel housing that cools with water, an air purge system, a protective window, a shutter system, and a flexible process interface to ensure easy integration. Technically, the Xi 1M IP is designed for high-temperature processes between 450 °C and 1800 °C, using a short-wave spectral range of 0.85 to 1.1 µm. This range makes it ideal for metal processing, heat treatment, forging, sintering, and furnace applications where traditional long-wave systems fall short. With an optical resolution of 396 by 300 pixels, fast frame rates, and line-scan capability, the online thermal camera provides accurate, real-time temperature data for process control and documentation. Key features include operation in ambient temperatures up to 250 °C with water cooling, IP67 protection against the environment, and a pre-assembled, pre-wired design that simplifies installation. Optional Ethernet/IP, Profinet, or Modbus TCP interfaces allow for easy integration into modern automation setups. Additional accessories, such as various optics, 5 m or 10 m high-temperature cables, PoE connectivity, and an Industrial Process Interface with extra I/O and fail-safe relay, increase the system's flexibility. For customers, the Xi 1M IP Industrial Package provides maximum reliability, less downtime, and consistent measurement performance in demanding applications.
