The humimeter FS1.1 Grain measuring device is a handy moisture analyzer for grain for determining the water content of many types of grain and is perfect for manual and pre-harvesting for field control in agriculture.
Thanks to a hold function, the measured values can be frozen on the display until the next button is pressed. In order to increase the measurement accuracy and reproducibility, different hectoliter weight levels are stored in the device. This means that different bulk densities do not have a negative impact on the measurements. The entire series of devices for measuring grain moisture has been calibrated and checked using the calibratable kiln method EN-ISO 712.
At the same time, the sample temperature is measured, displayed and also included in the moisture calculation.
Our moisture meter for grain humimeter FS1.1 has a calibrated measuring range of 5% to 25% water content (depending on the type).
Areas of Application:
The moisture meter is ideal for corn, rye, triticale, wheat, barley, oats, rape, soybeans, horse beans, sunflower seeds, sorghum, millet, mustard seed, buckwheat, rice peeled and unpeeled, peeled raw coffee and roast coffee.
The measuring device is adjusted after calibration to the reference method
- EN ISO 6540 for corn
- EN ISO 665 for oilseeds
- EN ISO 712 for grain
- EN ISO 24557 for legumes and beans
Benefits
- Whole grain meter with small amount of sample
- For all types of grain
- No sample preparation necessary
- Reduces drying costs
- Prevent mold growth
Handling and measurement process
In order to ensure precise measurement values in the long term, the humimeter moisture analyzer for grain automatically performs a self-calibration after being switched on.
The relevant characteristic curve for the type of grain to be measured can then be selected on the device.
The measuring chamber of the grain measuring device is then filled with the required amount of the grain type. In order to determine the exact amount of grain, a scale and a measuring cup are included in the delivery.
The water content can immediately be read off from the large, well-lit display and, if necessary, saved and edited using the integrated data logger.
- No time-consuming preparation of the sample necessary
- Non-destructive measuring method
