PDF Instruction 1
The Allied Vision Alvium 1500 C-500 is an innovative MIPI CSI-2 camera designed to deliver OEM-level performance for high-volume embedded applications. Equipped with a premium 1/2.5 inch ON Semi AR0521 CMOS sensor, it captures crisp 5.0 Megapixel images at up to 68 frames per second. Its compact architecture combined with an integrated Alvium System-on-Chip (SoC) offloads image processing tasks directly from the host board, dramatically reducing system power consumption and optimizing hardware performance.
Featuring advanced embedded vision capability, this module supports flexible board setups including Bare Board and Open Housing configurations with C-Mount, CS-Mount, or S-Mount lens options. Designed for harsh operating environments spanning from -20°C to 65°C, the camera provides standard 5 VDC power over MIPI CSI-2 interface, making it an ideal choice for compact robotics, smart devices, and automated edge inspection systems.
Application Scope
- Embedded robotics and autonomous mobile devices
- Automated optical inspection and industrial quality control
- Medical diagnostic equipment and laboratory automation
- Precision agricultural drone imaging and crop monitoring
- Smart traffic management and surveillance systems
