The Allied Vision Alvium GM2-040 is an innovative GMSL2 embedded vision camera designed for demanding industrial applications requiring reliable high-speed video transmission over long cable lengths. Powered by the high-sensitivity Sony IMX287 CMOS sensor with Global Shutter technology, this camera captures distortion-free images of fast-moving objects at a resolution of 728 × 544 pixels (0.40 MP).
Built upon Allied Vision's flexible Alvium platform, the GM2-040 utilizes an advanced GMSL2 interface based on MIPI CSI-2 with up to 4 lanes, offering seamless integration with embedded hardware architectures such as NVIDIA Jetson. Featuring an onboard FPGA and flexible optical configuration options (C-Mount, CS-Mount, S-Mount), it delivers exceptional quantum efficiency of 64% at 529 nm and broad spectral response from 300 nm to 1100 nm.
