PDF Instruction 1
The professional Ecotest BS-09 gamma radiation alarm unit is designed for immediate visual and audible alerting of personnel regarding elevated radiation levels at hazardous facilities. Operating in pair with the BDBG-09 radiation detection unit, it displays real-time ambient dose equivalent rate (DER) values on a high-contrast OLED display.
This device features advanced network integration capabilities via RS-485 and Ethernet interfaces supporting Modbus TCP and proprietary Ecotest communication protocols. The integrated Li-Po rechargeable battery guarantees up to 24 hours of autonomous operation, while non-volatile flash memory stores up to 24 hours of continuous measurement history.
The built-in three-color light indicator and 80 dB sound alarm system instantly signal normal radiation background (green), threshold exceeded (yellow), and safety limit exceeded (red). The specialized BS-09 Geo version integrates a GNSS satellite navigation module for geo-referencing radiation data in mobile monitoring systems.
Scope of Application
- Continuous radiation monitoring at nuclear power plants and industrial sites
- Personnel safety alerts in radiological laboratories and medical institutions
- Border control checkpoints and customs radiation monitoring systems
- Mobile radiation survey systems and environmental monitoring (BS-09 Geo version)
- Civil defense and emergency response post monitoring
