PDF Instruction 1

The professional gamma radiation detection unit BDBG-09S is designed for continuous measurement of ambient dose equivalent rate of gamma radiation across a wide range from 0.01 uSv/h to 1 Sv/h. The device combines a high-sensitivity CsI(Tl) scintillator with a silicon photomultiplier for low dose rates and an energy-compensated Geiger-Muller counter for high radiation levels. This combination ensures high measurement accuracy and rapid response for safety applications.

This intelligent radiation monitoring sensor transmits measurement results via a standard RS-485 digital interface. The unit features continuous self-testing and real-time calculation of statistical measurement errors. Enclosed in a durable duralumin or stainless steel housing, it operates reliably in harsh environments from -40 °C to +50 °C.

Application Scope

  • Mobile radiological monitoring laboratories and vehicles
  • Automated environmental and industrial radiation monitoring systems
  • Radiation status display panels and public warning systems
  • Nuclear power plants and radioactive waste handling facilities
  • Water body and environmental monitoring posts
