The Allied Vision Alvium G5-507 Pol is a high-performance 5Gbase-T industrial camera equipped with the 5.10 Megapixel Sony IMX264 Polarizer CMOS sensor. Designed specifically for advanced machine vision applications, this camera utilizes on-chip polarizing filter technology capable of capturing four-directional polarization information in a single frame. Its 5Gbase-T GigE Vision interface delivers up to 5 times the bandwidth of standard Gigabit Ethernet, enabling frame rates up to 34 fps at full resolution while remaining fully backward compatible with 2.5GBASE-T and 1000BASE-T networks.
Featuring an onboard 512 MB image buffer and powerful FPGA processing capabilities, the Alvium G5-507 Pol ensures reliable data transfer without packet loss in demanding industrial environments. The global shutter CMOS architecture with 3.45 um pixels provides high quantum efficiency, low temporal noise, and exceptional image clarity for measuring stress analysis, surface scratch detection, and reflection suppression on transparent or shiny materials.
Built on Allied Vision ALVIUM System on Chip SoC platform, the camera combines low power consumption with versatile power options including Power over Ethernet PoE IEEE 802.3af Class 0 and direct AUX power supply. The compact 60 x 29 x 29 mm form factor and opto-isolated I/O interfaces make it an ideal choice for compact system integration and harsh manufacturing conditions.
