The Janitza UMG 800 is an advanced modular energy analyzer engineered for precise power monitoring and comprehensive power quality analysis in industrial environments data centers and electrical distribution systems. Featuring an ultra-compact design occupying only two DIN rail sub-units the UMG 800 serves as a flexible baseline device capable of expanding up to 13 modules providing up to 96 current measurement inputs and 182 digital inputs without replacing the core unit.
Equipped with a high sampling rate of 51.24 kHz and 4 GB of internal memory this instrument captures harmonics up to the 63rd order fast transients down to 18 microseconds and voltage dips using standardized COMTRADE and PQDIF formats. Integrated communication protocols including OPC UA Modbus TCP/IP Gateway and dual Ethernet interfaces ensure seamless industrial IoT integration web-based diagnostics and robust network security via Modbus whitelisting.
