Handling and measurement process

The humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter with sword probe for measuring moisture in paper and cardboard stacks. To determine the moisture, the sword probe only needs to be inserted into the paper stack and left there for a short conditioning time.

The integrated data logger allows the measured values ​​to be saved on the humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter and supplemented with additional data. You also have the option of using the autolog function. This function automatically saves measured values ​​at adjustable time intervals.

To prevent damage to the sword sensor when using the humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter in heavy paper stacks, a sword sensor holder and a tool for removing the sword sensor holder are available as options. Before inserting the humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter, the sword sensor holder is moved into the paper stack and enables a measurement without distorting the measured value. To easily remove the sword sensor holder after pulling out the humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter, the tool for removing the sword sensor holder is used.
At the same time, the humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter also measures the material temperature and includes this in the calculation of the measurement result. The temperature range is from -10 °C to +60 °C and can be set to °C or °F as required.

The calibrated measuring range of our humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter ranges from 10% to 100% relative humidity. When using the sword sensor in a stack of paper, the humidity corresponds to the paper moisture. Another option for the humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter is a serial USB interface for connecting the device to a PC. Using the included LogMemorizer software, the measured values ​​can be read from the device, additional information can be added and the data can be archived, exported and further processed.

For the humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter with USB interface, we optionally offer a portable thermal printer with which the measured values ​​can be printed directly from the device without a PC.
