The Gamma Sapiens (UDKG-PRO) smart detector by Ecotest is an advanced wireless personal dosimeter engineered for continuous measurement of gamma and X-ray radiation dose rate (DER) and accumulated dose (DE). Equipped with a highly sensitive built-in Geiger-Muller counter, it evaluates natural background radiation levels within just 10–15 seconds. Measurement data is transmitted in real time via a secure radio link to iOS or Android smartphones and tablets running the dedicated GS Ecotest application.
Operating independently with its own power supply (2x AAA batteries), this radiological monitoring device does not drain the connected mobile device's battery. Users can freely answer calls, send SMS messages, or execute other software applications without interrupting radiological measurements or losing critical data. Upon detecting programmed threshold values, Gamma Sapiens triggers instant audio, visual, and vibration alerts to protect personnel in hazardous environments.
