Annealing Furnace Fluke 9117 300 °C to 1100 °C
Description
The Annealing Furnace Fluke 9117 is a specialized high-temperature metrology furnace engineered for primary calibration laboratories and temperature standards facilities. Operating across a temperature range from 300 °C to 1100 °C, the Fluke 9117 is designed to relieve mechanical strain and remove oxidation from standard platinum resistance thermometers (SPRTs and HTPRTs). Equipped with a quartz-encased graphite block that guards against metal ion contamination at high temperatures, it features five 8 mm diameter thermal wells and a programmable PID ramp-and-soak controller for precise thermal treatment cycles.
Application Scope
Engineered for primary calibration laboratories, national metrology institutes, and sensor manufacturing facilities:
- Relieving mechanical shock stress in platinum sensing elements prior to ITS-90 fixed-point calibration
- Removing sensor element oxidation built up during prolonged exposure between 200 °C and 450 °C
- Simultaneous controlled thermal annealing of up to five SPRTs or HTPRTs in a contamination-free environment
