This infrared product package includes a Xi 400 LT USB thermal camera, an HD visible camera, and a USB Server. All is pre-assembled in an IP66 outdoor housing. It features an integrated air purge, heater, and fan to protect the thermal camera and for reliable outdoor use all day, every day. Thanks to its strong temperature control system and environmental rating, the thermal camera housing can operate continuously between -40 °C and 50 °C without losing measurement stability, even in dusty, humid, or exposed environments. The spot finder infrared camera offers an optical resolution of 382 x 288 pixels and 80 mK thermal sensitivity, along with a 1280 x 720 pixel visible camera for accurate visual-thermal verification.
The Xi 400 CM package is designed for long-range surveillance, outdoor infrared camera monitoring, and early fire detection. This package allows easy integration via USB-Server Gigabit (PoE) into video management systems. It transmits both IR and HD video streams at the same time and the high-speed real-time analytics use every pixel to detect temperature increases and hot spot formation. It automatically triggers alarms through defined temperature thresholds and process interface ports, allowing direct connection to fire alarm systems or automated extinguishing systems.
The integrated air purge ensures clear optical transmission in areas with particulate exposure. For example, these could be sawmills, waste management centers, scrap yards, coal conveyors, and biomass storage zones. These environments have high ignition risks due to overheating bearings, friction sparks, or spontaneous combustion of material piles. In these places, the Xi 400 CM provides real-time infrared camera monitoring, early ignition alerts, and reduces false alarms through combined thermal-visible verification.
The Xi 400 CM is a cost-effective, preconfigured turnkey solution that significantly cuts installation time and removes the need for integrating individual components. Accessories include a wall mount, air purge collar, various optics up to 80° HFOV, and motorized focus for precise field-of-view adjustment.
