Compact Non-Contact AC Voltage Detector
The Fluke 1AC II VoltAlert is a pocket-sized non-contact AC voltage detector engineered for fast electrical verification. By sensing the electrostatic field produced by AC voltage through conductor insulation, the tip illuminates red and emits an audible signal when live circuits are detected. Operating across a nominal range of 90 V to 1000 V AC, this tool is rated to CAT IV 1000 V safety specifications.
Industrial Use Cases
- Rapid Junction Box Verification: Safely detecting live power in terminal blocks, switches, and wiring enclosures without touching exposed conductors.
- Cable Break Tracing: Following insulated power lines to isolate structural circuit breaks or power interruption points.
- Maintenance Pre-Check Routines: Performing rapid safety checks prior to servicing commercial electrical installations or control machinery.
