Compact Non-Contact AC Voltage Tester
The Fluke 2AC VoltAlert is a pocket-sized non-contact AC voltage tester designed for quick electrical checks. Operating across a range of 90 V to 1000 V AC, the device detects the electrostatic field generated by AC voltage through insulation. When live voltage is present, the tip glows red for instant visual indication. Rated to CAT IV 1000 V, it provides maximum protection during electrical troubleshooting in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Industrial Use Cases
- Electrical Enclosure Verification: Safely detecting energized circuits, terminal blocks, and outlets without physical contact with conductors.
- Defective Ground Identification: Rapidly identifying ungrounded metal components and improper wiring terminations.
- Routine Safety Pre-Checks: Performing preliminary tests before servicing machinery, lighting circuits, or distribution panels.
